A new video showing
kidnapped chibok school girls has been released
by the Boko Haram insurgents. The
video claims to show around 100 girls kidnapped from the school in Maiduguri.
BBC News reports that the group's leader, Abubakar Shekau,
said they would be held until all imprisoned militants had been freed. He claimed the girls had converted to Islam with the video released on Monday showing the praying. Boko Haram abducted more than 200 girls in northern Nigeria
on 14 April and threatened to sell them.
